...but I'll forget if I wait till tomorrow.
1. What were some of the smells and tastes of your childhood? Um. BonneBell lip balms, I loved them so hardcore; I even had that sweet keychain so that you could have like 3 of them attached to your belt. Also, the smell of peanut butter blossom cookies (IDK if that's the universal name, but the kind with the peanut butter cookies rolled in sugar, topped with a Hershey kiss). We've baked them every year for thanksgiving and christmas, for as long as I can remember.
2. What did you have as a child that you do not think children today have? Decent fandoms. The cartoons today are shit...look how they're being revived! And not just as t-shirts for kids of my age, but they're actually being re-made for actual kids.
3. What elementary grade was your favorite? 3rd grade, hands down. I had the coolest teacher in the school. She would read us bits from the Narnia books every friday, and we'd have these 'auctions' once a week. We would get little coupons for certain things throughout the week, and then we could bid on candy and stuff. We also made a 'fruit-cup factory.' It was srsly like a company; some kids were in charge of advertising, that sort of thing. Then we had to assemble/deliver them at the end of the period; that night we had an overnight at the school library in celebration. It was kick-ass at the time.
4. What summer do you remember the best as a child? Contrary to Sarah Dessen books, I don't really feel like my life was measured in Summers. I don't really remember them well at all, except for maybe some events. Namely the Spree; a small fair/carnival for the city.
5. What one piece of advice would you give to your younger self, and at what age? I would try to tell myself to grow out of my shell and be more outgoing; I feel like I missed out on a lot during my lifetime because I wasn't outgoing enough to try things, or to make friends, that sort of thing.
(ps thanks Lizzie for the song! I really love it!)
